The Judicial Space and Facilities Management Effectiveness Act of 2026 establishes a pilot program to transfer jurisdiction, custody, and control of certain judicial branch accommodations to the Director of the Administrative Office of the United States Courts. The Director can request transfers of real property or leases in up to 10 judicial districts. The Act also establishes a Judicial Space and Facilities Management Fund for managing courthouse space and facilities.
