The FORK Act of 2026 amends the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act to create a pilot program for summer meal delivery vehicles. The Department of Agriculture will award grants to eligible entities to purchase, retrofit, or repair vehicles for meal distribution. Grants are limited to $100,000 per year and can cover up to 10% administrative expenses. Priority is given to areas with poor economic conditions, outside core-based statistical areas, and serving high proportions of socially disadvantaged students. The program runs for three years, with a report to Congress after four years.
