The Restoring Affordability in Automobile Manufacturing Act, or RAAM Act, repeals federal corporate average fuel economy standards for automobiles. It prohibits states from adopting or enforcing their own fuel economy standards for automobiles. The act also defines terms such as "dedicated automobile" and "dual fueled automobile" and makes conforming amendments to various sections of title 49, United States Code. The changes apply to model year 2029 and each model year thereafter.
