The Get Foreign Money Out of U.S. Elections Act amends the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 to extend the prohibition on foreign nationals' contributions and expenditures to domestic business entities. These entities include those where foreign nationals own or control at least 1% of the voting shares, total equity, or other ownership interests. The Act also applies to entities where foreign nationals have the power to direct or control decision-making processes related to U.S. elections.
