Health and Location Data Protection Act of 2026 prohibits data brokers from selling, reselling, licensing, trading, transferring, sharing, or otherwise providing or making available location data and health data of an individual. The Federal Trade Commission shall enforce this Act, with the same jurisdiction, powers, and duties as though all applicable terms and provisions of the Federal Trade Commission Act were incorporated into and made a part of this Act. The Act also allows for private enforcement and provides for civil penalties.
