The POWER Up Act amends the Federal Power Act to clarify that the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has jurisdiction over the interconnection of large load facilities to interstate transmission facilities. This includes facilities with an aggregate peak electricity demand of 100 megawatts or more. The Act mandates the Commission to establish standardized procedures and agreements for such interconnections, including for hybrid facilities that combine large load and generation.
