Accelerating Access to Critical Therapies for ALS Reauthorization Act of 2026

Introduced·4/30/26

Extends the Accelerating Access to Critical Therapies for ALS Act through 2031 and updates clinical trial data sharing requirements.

The Accelerating Access to Critical Therapies for ALS Reauthorization Act of 2026 extends the provisions of the Accelerating Access to Critical Therapies for ALS Act through fiscal year 2031. It mandates the Food and Drug Administration to request manufacturers of investigational drugs to share interim clinical trial data with the Secretary. The bill also requires the FDA to publish a report on the implementation of the 2022 Action Plan for Rare Neurodegenerative Diseases, including ALS, and its impact on therapies for ALS and other rare neurodegenerative diseases.

The filed bill text is too short for analysis.
