The 287(g) Expansion Act authorizes an increase in the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant allocation for jurisdictions that enter into a 287(g) agreement to enhance immigration enforcement. This bill allows states or political subdivisions that have entered into a 287(g) Agreement with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to apply for increased funding.
