INSIGHT Act mandates annual reports on investigations and adverse assistance agreements.

The INSIGHT Act amends the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 to require the Employee Benefit Security Administration to submit annual reports to Congress on investigations and adverse interest agreements. These reports must detail the office that initiated the investigation, the date it was opened, and the date documents were first requested. The act also mandates that the Secretary of Labor enter into written agreements with individuals providing adverse assistance, detailing the nature and scope of such assistance and providing copies to affected parties.
