Extends section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act for 3 years.

The bill extends the authority of section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 for 3 years, until April 20, 2029. Section 702 allows for the targeting of non-U.S. persons outside the United States to acquire foreign intelligence information. The bill modifies the effective dates in the FISA Amendments Act of 2008 to reflect this extension.
