The Taiwan Relations Reinforcement Act mandates the Secretary of War to submit annual reports to Congress assessing the U.S. capacity to implement the Taiwan Relations Act. Each report must evaluate current and projected military posture, force structure, operational plans, and capabilities to deter large-scale invasions, blockades, and missile strikes against Taiwan. It must also assess U.S. readiness, munitions sufficiency, industrial base sustainability, and allied contributions. The report will include an estimated timeline and costs to achieve sufficient capability.
