The Love Lives On Act of 2025 amends titles 10 and 38 of the United States Code to improve benefits for surviving spouses of deceased military members. It ensures that the remarriage of a surviving spouse does not bar them from receiving benefits under the Survivor Benefit Plan. It also ensures that the remarriage of a surviving spouse does not bar them from receiving benefits under the Dependency and Indemnity Compensation program. The act further expands the definition of dependent under the TRICARE program to include a remarried widow or widower whose subsequent marriage has ended.
