S.4055

Establishes a taskforce within the Securities and Exchange Commission to address financial exploitation of senior investors.

The Senior Security Act of 2026 creates an interdivisional taskforce within the Securities and Exchange Commission focused on senior investors. The taskforce will identify challenges faced by senior investors, including financial exploitation and cognitive decline. It will also recommend regulatory changes and coordinate with other agencies. The taskforce will issue a report every two years to Congress, detailing economic costs of financial exploitation, trends, and best practices.
