The Cooperative Watershed Management Program Reauthorization Act of 2026 amends the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009. It allows the Secretary to extend first-phase grants for up to two additional years if the recipient demonstrates satisfactory performance. The bill increases the maximum annual grant amount to $150,000 for continued grants and authorizes $40,000,000 for each fiscal year from 2027 to 2031. It also expands the types of technical assistance that can be funded and allows for grants to be made to Indian tribes and entities with ancestral lands within the watershed.
