Federal SB4029 establishes a 10-year limitations period for antibribery offenses under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977.

Federal SB4029 amends the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977 by setting a 10-year limitations period for antibribery offenses. This means that individuals cannot be prosecuted for such offenses unless the indictment is filed within 10 years of the offense. The bill does not apply to offenses committed within five years before its enactment. The changes introduced by this bill are set to expire eight years after its enactment.
