African American History Act of 2026 authorizes funding for African American history education programs.
The African American History Act of 2026 authorizes the Director of the National Museum of African American History and Culture to support African American history education programs. The bill authorizes appropriations for fiscal year 2027 and each of the 4 succeeding fiscal years. The Director may use the funds to create and promote educational activities, develop and maintain online content, and respond to inquiries. The bill also requires the Director to submit an annual report to Congress.
