Prohibits funds from the One Big Beautiful Bill Act from being used to recruit or hire new immigration enforcement agents or officers at ICE or CBP.
The ICE Funding Accountability Act prohibits funds from the One Big Beautiful Bill Act from being used to recruit or hire new immigration enforcement agents or officers at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) or U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). This includes prohibiting the use of such funds to pay the salaries of agents or officers hired after the enactment of this Act, as well as prohibiting recruitment, advertising for hiring, or paying retention or sign-on bonuses to such agents or officers.
