This bill establishes the Grand Village of the Natchez Indians and Historic Jefferson College in Natchez, Mississippi, as affiliated areas of the National Park System. The Mississippi Department of Archives and History will manage these areas. The Secretary of the Interior may provide technical assistance and enter into cooperative agreements for financial support, but will not acquire property or assume financial responsibility for operations. The bill aims to promote public appreciation of the significant historic contributions of the Natchez Indians.
