The PRIMED Act requires certain actions taken by the Secretary of Defense under the Defense Production Act to be treated as eligible transportation projects. These actions include supporting feasibility studies for mining projects, byproduct and co-product production, and modernizing mining processes. The bill also mandates these actions be included in the Permitting Dashboard. However, if the project sponsor requests otherwise, these actions can be excluded from this treatment.
