Relief for Farmers Hit with PFAS Act provides grants to address PFAS contamination on farms.

The Relief for Farmers Hit with PFAS Act authorizes the Secretary of Agriculture to provide grants to states, territories, and Indian Tribes to address contamination by perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) on farms. Eligible governments can use grants for monitoring PFAS-related health complications, assessing the viability of agricultural systems, composting or disposing of contaminated crops or livestock, implementing alternative production systems, researching PFAS uptake in farm products, and ensuring food safety.
