The bill allows Members of Congress to use Department of Veterans Affairs facilities for meetings with constituents.
The Improving Veterans Access to Congressional Services Act of 2025 directs the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to permit Members of Congress to use VA facilities for meetings with constituents. The Secretary must prescribe regulations within 90 days of enactment. These regulations must ensure spaces are available during normal business hours, visible and accessible to constituents, and subject to a rent similar to that charged by the General Services Administration. The bill prohibits certain activities, such as campaigning and photographing patients without consent.
