The Pit River Land Transfer Act of 2025 transfers approximately 583.79 acres of federal land in California to the Pit River Tribe. The land, managed by the Forest Service, will be taken into trust by the Secretary of the Interior for the benefit of the Pit River Tribe. The land will be considered part of the Tribe's Reservation and will be subject to a survey within 180 days of the Act's enactment. Notably, the land will not be used for any class II or class III gaming activities. The Act also excludes certain roads, highways, and public rights-of-way from the land transfer.
