The Advisory Committee on the Records of Congress Sunset Act eliminates the Advisory Committee on the Records of Congress by striking relevant sections from title 44 of the United States Code. It assigns the duties of the Advisory Committee to the Director of the Center for Legislative Archives. The Director must submit annual reports on the management and preservation of congressional records to the Archivist, the Secretary of the Senate, the Clerk of the House of Representatives, and relevant committees in both chambers.
