The CDFI Fund Transparency Act aims to enhance transparency and accountability for the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund.

The CDFI Fund Transparency Act amends the Community Development Banking and Financial Institutions Act of 1994 to mandate that the Secretary of the Treasury, or a designee, must annually testify before the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs and the House Committee on Financial Services. This testimony will cover the operations of the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund from the previous fiscal year. The requirement to testify is at the discretion of the chairmen of these committees.
