The Skilled Workforce Act amends the Internal Revenue Code to create a qualifying workforce training project credit. This credit applies to investments in eligible institutions, such as public secondary schools and community colleges, to address workforce shortages and skills gaps. Eligible projects must equip, expand, or enhance institutions to provide high-quality, in-demand training. The credit is equal to 30% of the qualified investment, with a total cap of $500 million.
