American Worker Rebate Act of 2025

Introduced·7/28/25
Introduced in Senate Text

American Worker Rebate Act of 2025: Provides tax rebates to individuals using tariff proceeds.

The American Worker Rebate Act of 2025 aims to use revenue from tariffs on foreign imports to provide tax rebates to working people. It amends the Internal Revenue Code to allow a credit against tax for eligible individuals, defined as those who are not nonresident aliens, dependents, or estates or trusts. The credit is calculated based on the number of qualifying children and the amount of qualifying tariff proceeds. The Secretary of the Treasury is required to conduct a public awareness campaign to inform individuals about the rebates.
