The Senior Savings Protection Act extends funding for outreach and assistance programs aimed at low-income individuals. Specifically, it amends the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act of 2008 to provide funding for State health insurance assistance programs, area agencies on aging, and aging and disability resource centers from fiscal years 2026 through 2030. The Act also allocates funds for coordinating efforts to inform older Americans about benefits available under federal and state programs.
