The PATRIOT Parks Act authorizes the Secretary of the Interior to collect surcharges from international visitors to units of the National Park System.

The PATRIOT Parks Act amends the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act to authorize the Secretary of the Interior to collect surcharges from international visitors to units of the National Park System. The surcharges are to be established by the superintendent of the applicable unit of the National Park System. The proceeds from these surcharges will be deposited in the National Parks and Public Land Legacy Restoration Fund. The bill also allows for the suspension or modification of the surcharge, including tiered pricing based on visitation levels.
