Protecting America’s Diplomatic Workforce Act aims to enhance transparency and fairness in reductions in force for diplomatic personnel.

The Protecting America’s Diplomatic Workforce Act seeks to increase transparency, fairness, and protections for diplomatic personnel affected by reductions in force. It mandates that agencies must provide detailed explanations to congressional committees before executing significant reductions in force. The act also sets a 60-day notice period for employees facing separation and ensures they receive protections similar to civil service members.
