Small Business Disaster Coordination Act authorizes resource partners to assist small businesses outside their service areas during disasters.
The Small Business Disaster Coordination Act amends the Small Business Disaster Response and Loan Improvements Act of 2008 to enhance disaster response and planning coordination. It allows the Small Business Administration to authorize resource partners to provide advice, information, and assistance to small businesses outside their service areas, provided the businesses are in eligible disaster areas. Resource partners must coordinate with local partners and can offer assistance for up to two years post-disaster, extendable by the Administrator.
