Salem Maritime National Historic Site to be renamed Salem Maritime National Historical Park.
The Salem Maritime National Historical Park Redesignation and Boundary Study Act renames the Salem Maritime National Historic Site to the Salem Maritime National Historical Park. The Secretary of the Interior is directed to conduct a boundary study to assess the suitability and feasibility of including additional sites in the park related to maritime history, coastal defenses, and military history, including National Guard and militia activity.
