The bill expresses support for honoring Earth Day and encourages environmental action.

The bill expresses support for honoring Earth Day, an annual event created to promote environmental citizenship and action. It encourages the American people to mark Earth Day by addressing environmental challenges, uplifting indigenous environmental knowledge, educating others about the need for year-round action, and honoring the stewardship ethic. The bill urges the President to issue a proclamation recognizing Earth Day and encourages the United States Government to rejoin the Paris Agreement to protect the planet for future generations.
