The Enhancing Electric Grid Resilience Act amends the Federal Power Act to authorize the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to allocate costs for transmission facilities of national significance. These facilities include interstate electric power transmission lines or offshore lines with a capacity of at least 1,000 megawatts, completed after the enactment of this Act. The Act also applies to expansions or upgrades of such lines that increase capacity by at least 500 megawatts. Tariffs must allocate costs based on benefits such as reliability, economic impact, and resilience.
