ABLE MATCH Act provides matching payments for ABLE account contributions by individuals with disabilities and requires demographic reporting for ABLE.
The ABLE MATCH (Making Able a Tool to Combat Hardship) Act amends the Internal Revenue Code to provide matching payments for contributions to ABLE accounts for certain individuals. It also requires the Secretary of the Treasury to include demographic information in reports related to ABLE accounts. The Act aims to encourage individuals with disabilities to save using ABLE accounts, increase uptake and utilization of these accounts, and provide a Federal match for accounts held by individuals with an annual income less than 200 percent of the Federal poverty limit.
