Reestablishes the National Technical Assistance Center on Grandfamilies and Kinship Families.

The Supporting Grandfamilies Act of 2026 amends the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to reestablish the National Technical Assistance Center on Grandfamilies and Kinship Families. The Center will provide training, technical assistance, coordination, and resources to organizations serving grandfamilies and kinship families. It will focus on grandfamilies with older caregivers or children with disabilities. The Center will also facilitate learning across states and tribes, and help organizations plan and coordinate programs and services. Funding is authorized for fiscal year 2027 through 2031.
