Provides a private cause of action for exposure of personally identifiable information of victims in documents released under the Epstein Files.

The REDACT Act allows individuals to sue the United States for damages if their personally identifiable information is exposed in documents released under the Epstein Files Transparency Act. The exposure must constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy. The act provides for statutory damages, compensatory damages, attorney's fees, and appropriate injunctive or declaratory relief.
