The Bear Poaching Elimination Act prohibits the importation, exportation, and interstate trade of bear viscera and bear viscera products to conserve.

The Bear Poaching Elimination Act aims to conserve global bear populations by prohibiting the importation, exportation, and interstate trade of bear viscera and bear viscera products. This includes body fluids or internal organs of bears, excluding blood and brains. The Act also encourages bilateral and multilateral efforts to eliminate such trade and ensures adequate federal legislation exists for domestic trade. Exceptions are made for wildlife law enforcement purposes and traditional Native American rituals.
