The Water Reservoir Transparency Act mandates the Secretary of the Army, through the Chief of Engineers, to conduct a study on how new commercial and industrial water users affect reservoir operations and water levels maintained by the Corps of Engineers. The study results must be submitted to the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure and the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, and made publicly available on a Corps of Engineers website within 180 days of the Act's enactment.
