The State Firearms Dealer Licensing Enhancement Act amends the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to create a grant program for states and tribal governments to develop, implement, improve, or evaluate firearms dealer licensing programs. Eligible applicants must have laws requiring licenses for firearms dealers, including exemptions, and describe how they will use the grant. States can subaward funds to local governments for program oversight. The Attorney General can award annual grants up to $2,500,000 per fiscal year.
