Lifting Immigrant Families Through Benefits Access Restoration Act restores eligibility for certain benefits to lawfully present noncitizens.

The Lifting Immigrant Families Through Benefits Access Restoration Act repeals certain provisions that restrict eligibility for benefits to lawfully present noncitizens. It removes arbitrary restrictions on eligibility for basic assistance, including Medicaid and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). The bill also restores the allowance of premium tax credits for certain noncitizens during periods of Medicaid ineligibility due to alien status. It mandates federal agencies to issue guidance on implementing these changes within 180 days of the act's enactment.
