Federal HB9382 requires the Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to link family members' applications throughout the NEXUS process. This includes permitting family members to schedule interviews together and offering joint interviews. Children under 14 may be exempt from interviews if linked to an eligible family member. Family members are defined as parents, legal guardians, children, grandparents, grandchildren, and siblings residing within a single household.
