USDA Field Office Stability Act prohibits the closure or relocation of certain USDA offices.

The USDA Field Office Stability Act prohibits the closure or relocation of county or field offices of the Natural Resources Conservation Service, Farm Service Agency, Rural Development area, or any county service center. Exceptions include offices within 20 miles of another office in another state and relocations within the same county during routine leasing operations. The Secretary of Agriculture must maintain minimum staffing levels to keep all local service centers open and accessible during standard business hours.
