The bill temporarily expands the authorized uses of grants awarded under the Veterans Legacy Program of the National Cemetery Administration. During this period, grants may be used to assist in locating, identifying, and interring unclaimed or abandoned human remains suspected to be those of veterans. The expanded use of grants is limited to the period beginning on the date of enactment and ending on the last day of the second fiscal year beginning after such date.
