The Preserving Accountability for National Assets Act of 2026, also known as the PANA Act of 2026, establishes the Venezuela Restoration Fund in the U.S. Treasury. This fund will receive forfeited assets from individuals or entities associated with the regimes of Hugo Chávez and Nicolás Maduro in Venezuela. The fund will be used to strengthen democratic governance, defend human rights, support independent media, and combat corruption in Venezuela. The Secretary of State will manage the fund, which will operate without fiscal year limitations or need for subsequent appropriations.
