The Young Adult Tax Credit Act amends the Internal Revenue Code to establish a refundable young adult tax credit with monthly advance payments. The credit is available to taxpayers with dependents who are specified young adults, defined as individuals aged 18 to under 25 who are citizens, nationals, or residents of the United States. The credit amount is $500 per month per eligible dependent, subject to inflation adjustments starting from 2028. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will administer an online portal for taxpayers to manage their credit and payments.
