Expands Medicare to cover medically necessary home resiliency services for individuals at risk during disasters.

The bill amends the Social Security Act to include coverage for medically necessary home resiliency services under Medicare. These services, which may include heat pumps, solar batteries, and cold-storage for medical supplies, are intended for individuals who are medically at-risk during climate or manmade disasters. The Secretary of Health and Human Services, in consultation with other agencies, will establish criteria for determining which individuals are medically at-risk.
