The American Security Robotics Act of 2026 prohibits executive agencies from procuring or operating unmanned ground vehicle systems from covered foreign entities. A covered foreign entity is defined as an entity domiciled in a covered nation, subject to the influence or control of a covered nation's government, or a subsidiary or affiliate of such an entity. The prohibition applies to any system being used by an executive agency through a contract for the services of the system.
