The Student Protection and Success Act amends the Higher Education Act to establish a College Opportunity Bonus Program. This program awards grants to eligible institutions of higher education that have a strong record of making college more affordable and increasing college access and success for low-income and moderate-income students. Eligible institutions can use grant funds to award additional need-based financial aid, enhance academic and student support services, and establish or expand accelerated learning opportunities.
