Reauthorizes the Cooperative Watershed Management Program for fiscal years 2027 through 2031.
The Cooperative Watershed Management Program Reauthorization Act of 2026 reauthorizes the Cooperative Watershed Management Program for fiscal years 2027 through 2031. The Secretary of the Interior may issue continuations of first-phase grants for up to two additional years if the recipient demonstrates satisfactory performance. The bill authorizes appropriations of $40,000,000 for each of the fiscal years 2027 through 2031. It also allows for the inclusion of Indian tribes in the program and expands the types of technical assistance that can be provided under the program.
