The Pay TSA Act of 2026 establishes a Transportation Security Trust Fund to ensure that passenger security fees are used exclusively for aviation security. The fund supports the operations and personnel of the Transportation Security Administration and ensures continuity of aviation security operations during a lapse in appropriations. The fund is used for salaries, benefits, training, and workforce support for TSA personnel, passenger and baggage screening operations, aviation security checkpoint and screening technology, airport security infrastructure and equipment, and research.
